Pietho is a stunningly beautiful Goddess, not more than her mother but stunning nevertheless. She is taller than the average mortal woman and has somewhat of a model's appearance. She has long blonde hair..naturally...and She usually keeps her hair down and in loose natural curls. She has a fair complexion and soft pink lips, her eyes are grayish blue. She loves to dress up and wear very revealing garments. She can also normally be seen with a mischievous grin on her face.

.:Basic Personality:. Pietho is the Goddess of Seduction and Persuasion, two traits that consume her personality. She is sly and charming and always looking for something to get into. She enjoys making men drool and working her magic on mortals. She has a " Live like today was your last day" sort of attitude. She is never one to back down from anything and sometimes jumps in headfirst without looking.
She has many lovers but not a love. That is her weakness...love. She does not trust love, she has seen how easy love falters and breaks when the slightest pressure is put upon it. She refuses to give into it and even though she tells herself she likes it better this way, the truth is that she doesn't. As the fates would have it she knows love just is not in her cards...lust by the abundance, but no love. She tries not to think of these things though..she keeps them hidden, and on the outside she remains charming and happy..always with a smile.

.:History:.
In Greek mythology, Peitho (Ancient Greek: Ðåéèþ; English translation: "persuasion") is the goddess who personifies persuasion and seduction. Her Roman name is Suadela. Although this goddess did not have much power, she is a figure of some significance in Classical Greece. Peitho, in her role as an attendant or companion of Aphrodite, was intimately connected to the goddess of love and beauty. Ancient artists and poets explored this connection in their works. The connection is even deeper in the context of Ancient Greek marriage because a suitor had to negotiate with the father of a young woman for her hand in marriage and offer a bridal price in return for her. The most desirable women drew many prospective suitors, and persuasive skill often determined their success. Aphrodite and Peitho were sometimes conflated to a certain extent, with the name Peitho appearing in conjunction with, or as an epithet of, Aphrodite's name. This helps to demonstrate how the relationship between persuasion and love (or desire) was important in Greek culture. Peitho's ancestry is somewhat unclear. According to Hesiod in the Theogony, Peitho was the daughter of the Titans Tethys and Oceanus, which would make her an Oceanid and therefore sister of such notable goddesses as Tyche, Doris, Metis, and Calypso. However, Hesiod's classification of Peitho as an Oceanid is contradicted by other sources. Other sources would say that Peitho is not only an attendant to Aphrodite but both her and Hermes' daughter, which would explain the connection of the symbolism of the two goddesses.

Pietho was bored which was not at all uncommon. The other Gods and Goddesses had so much to do, so many mortals to worry and fuss over. Peitho never got to do any of that unless she was called upon to do so, her powers were ones which called for delicate situations and those were rare. The last enthralling event she had went to was at Sicyon, where she was honoured with a temple in the agora. She continues to be worshipped there of course, but the temple is the same temple..nothing new nothing interesting.
She wandered around her mother's palace for a while and then decided to do something far more fun. She changed into mortal's clothing, donned a desguise that suited her liking. It was not as beautiful as herself of course but better than any that a mortal was blessed with. She went into the mortal world, Athens to be more exact. Athens was her sort of city, the bustling people the exotic smells of far away fruits and spices that had just been shipped in. She walked along the dirty pathway until she made it the Theater of Dionysia. She made her way through the crowd slowly. Most of the seats were already taken, apparently a poet who was quite good was appearing. She pushed through the crowds..oh only if the mortals knew who she was..she continued to walk until she came unpon a spot she smiled her most charming smile and asked coyly " Hello...Is this seat taken"
