[/u][/center][/size][/font].:Basic Personality:. When Homer wanted to describe the sea, he used the name Amphitrite. While mostly playful, beautiful, and graceful; she can be as unpredictable as the sea her self. At times she can be mellow, and lazy, and at times she can be violent and forceful.
While her moods of violence is rare for her, she has been pushed over the edge a few times. Mostly it's when people hurt her sea. Mostly, Amphitrite loves anyone upon sight, and is very friendly; however she is at heart a nature lover. She will fight to protect her home and the ones that live in it. She will fight with force, to make it over in a swift strike. Then, she will be right back, dancing in the waves with her sisters. Enjoying life as if whoever had threaten her and her home had never been there.

.:History:. Amphitrite is older then the gods them selves, coming from a time of the Titians and when she and her sisters ruled the seas. They were known as Nereids Rules of teh Waters, and danced and played the days away. After the war that changed the level of power, her and her sisters became known as Sea Nymphs. They still had power over the waters but not at the strengths of this Poseidon.
Amphitrite and her sisters had never meet the man, they tended to stay together and just let him do as he pleased. They still enjoyed dancing and playing, and enjoying their immortal lives. They never got involved in the drama of the gods or the wars of the mortals. They just played on the shores, rocks and in the waters. Often times finding men to temp into their waters to play. Most men drowned if they came to far, but it never brought them down for long.
One day, Poseidon finally saw her, it had been many many years since he had been god of the sea, and when he saw her, dancing in the waves, he made Amphitrite his goddess and wife. Out of all the gods they have the most at ease relationship.
.:RP Sample:. The music had allot of drums, in them, and the beat was intense. It was music made to dance to, made to live to. Amphitrite, and two of her sisters danced on the beach as some mortals beat their dumbs and watched. The whole night had a feeling of fun and love. Everyone was laughing and playing.
Amphitrite singled out one of the mortal men, and smiled at him. He was tall, very well built and she liked the way he watched her. She knew she wanted to enjoy being with him tonight, she knew he be worth the trouble. However her heart belonged in the sea, and tonight she would return. She would let this mortal work her up, and her husband put out the fire. It was how she enjoyed spending her days. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
